Workshops
Alongside a solid theoretical preparation, we offer the possibility of applying the research methods most recognized by the scientific community, from the classics to the most innovative, to the field study of marine mammals.
Lessons are held in the Marecamp operational offices in Catania and Aci Castello, and at the University of Catania. The surveys at sea take place in the Gulf of Catania on board dinghies or sailing boats.
The courses are generally open to all. Furthermore, university students can obtain the recognition of corresponding CFU.

We have created a network of friends who share our same passion for the sea, especially the constant commitment to protecting the vulnerable marine species of Sicilian waters. They are organizations of fishermen, tourist operators and diving centers that adhere to the "Friends of Dolphins" protocol, promising to respect a code of good conduct during their observation, and to report any useful sightings to Marecamp for scientific and conservation purposes..
