Support Us
Large part of Marecamp activities are financed thanks to private donations or public funds won through tenders. Our fleet is made up of boats that have been donated by shipyards or assigned by local authorities after being seized from illicit business organizations.
There is a lack of studies about the impact of human activities on marine biodiversity, especially on cetaceans in the Gulf of Catania. You can help us explore more this issue dedicating your time to voluntary activities promoted by the association, or making donations of materials and equipment or in money.
For direct donations, write to info@marecamp to know our Iban and make a bank transfer. Otherwise, go to our crowdfunding page dedicated to actions to protect the dolphins of the Ionian Sea and for including young people in disadvantaged conditions in Marecamp's field activities.
Thanks in advance for your generosity!
Thanks to your donation you will offer, for people with disabilities or in difficult conditions, the possibility to participate for free at our initiatives (cetologist for one day experience, celebratory days of the sea, marine-themed courses and events).
In addition, you will support the research activities necessary to monitor and protect whales and dolphins of the Gulf of Catania.

FRIENDS OF MARECAMP AND THE DOLPHINS
We have created a network of friends who share our same passion for the sea, especially the constant commitment to protecting the vulnerable marine species of Sicilian waters. They are organizations of fishermen, tourist operators and diving centers that adhere to the "Friends of Dolphins" protocol, promising to respect a code of good conduct during their observation, and to report any useful sightings to Marecamp for scientific and conservation purposes..
